Bringing Sealand to Life at the V&A Waterfront

Trend Group was thrilled to partner with Sealand, a lifestyle brand focused on creating responsibly made gear and apparel from waste and ethically sourced materials. We were awarded the fit-out for Sealand’s first Experience Store, located at the Dock Road Junction in Cape Town’s iconic V&A Waterfront. Our team was responsible for the construction and project management, bringing this innovative concept to fruition.

Creative Design for a Sustainable Brand

Designed by Marco Simal, the store embodies a theme of uniqueness that reflects their commitment to sustainability. A striking balustrade highlighting the brand’s motif serves as a focal point, beautifully representing the essence of Sealand.

Engaging and Interactive Experiences

One of the standout features is the ‘Sealand Select’ room, where customers can get hands-on by creating their own Toastie utility pouches from pre-cut panels made of waste materials. This interactive element not only highlights sustainability but also allows customers to feel connected to the brand by crafting something utterly unique.

A Dynamic and Inspiring Space

The concept store is designed to be dynamic, featuring rotating displays and educational pieces that enhance the shopping experience. Dedicated walls celebrate Sealand’s ambassadors, giving them a platform to share their inspiring stories. This approach deepens the connection between the brand and its customers, showcasing their values in every corner.
