Trend Group designed a cutting-edge global headquarters for Luno, a leading cryptocurrency company. The workspace is futuristic and tech-forward, reflecting the innovative nature of the crypto industry. The design features a sleek, minimalist aesthetic with integrated technology, digital displays, and a layout that promotes agility and collaboration. The space includes a variety of work zones, from open-plan “neighborhoods” to private pods and a central hub for events, creating a dynamic environment for a company shaping the future of finance.
A New Headquarters for Luno
Luno, a leading cryptocurrency company, appointed Trend Group to deliver a full turnkey solution for their new head office project in Cape Town. With their previous space no longer meeting their needs, Luno sought to expand into a larger area that would allow for growth and innovation.
Implementing an Agile Working Culture
In this new space, Trend Group focused on implementing an agile working culture, incorporating numerous meeting areas, collaboration spaces, and hot-desking options. This design fosters flexibility and teamwork, allowing Luno’s employees to connect and collaborate more effectively.
Maximising City Views and Natural Light
The office boasts incredible views of the city, along with ample natural light that we aimed to maximise throughout the design. This emphasis on light and openness creates an inspiring environment that enhances productivity and employee well-being.
A Stylish and Sophisticated Design
The overall aesthetic of the office is slick, clean, and sophisticated. We integrated Luno’s corporate colours through bold accents and funky wallpapers, embodying their brand identity while adding personality to the space. Additionally, accent and pendant lighting were thoughtfully incorporated, along with greenery in select areas, to soften the environment and promote a welcoming atmosphere.
