We Work, a shared workspaces company decided to establish their footprint in South Africa in 2019. Along with Paragon, the design team, we worked to ensure that the design and implementation was delivered to the global standards.
Under the gaze of Table Mountain and surrounded by entertainment options, a lively dining scene, and a rapidly growing business sector, 80 Strand was the chosen location for a dynamic home for the growing team.
Four floors in this nine-story building are dedicated to We Work, featuring art-filled lounges, comfortable conference rooms, and focus-fueling private offices. A dedicated brainstorming room offers a productive backdrop for client meetings, while an onsite events space is frequently used for networking get-togethers.
The look and feel is based on an industrial design with a lot of African culture weaved through the spaces bringing that local theme throughout. The space is spacious, bright, clean, and friendly and really sets the tone for the communal sense of working,
