Vibrant workplace design
Trend was tasked with designing and delivering a dynamic and balanced office space of 8,500m2 for a forward-thinking private client. With a bold brand identity dominated by vibrant shades of orange and red, the challenge was to seamlessly integrate these energetic hues into a workspace that prioritises both branding and employee well-being.
Enhancing workplace design & comfort
Recognising that workplace design has a direct impact on productivity, wellness, and company culture, we carefully curated a colour palette that complements the client’s branding whilst also providing a calm and focused environment. Red and orange inject energy, passion, and innovation into key areas such as the reception, feature walls, and branding elements, while cooler tones of blue and green were introduced to provide balance. These shades, known for their calming and stabilising effects, help reduce stress, improve concentration, and enhance overall workplace comfort.
Strong Design and Build Collaboraton
Part of Trend Group’s scope included the installation of JEB Summit and X-Series shopfront systems, including operable walls and all internal partitioning. Design CoLab supplied and sourced all furniture, which is locally made. Despite working on a tight programme, the team delivered the project efficiently and to a high standard, thanks to strong collaboration across the design and implementation teams and a smooth decision-making process with the client.
A Green Star SA certification for the project is currently underway.
Delivering a multifunctional workplace
Beyond aesthetics, the design places a strong emphasis on employee engagement and collaboration. A vibrant canteen and games zone was created as a multifunctional space where employees can socialise, unwind, and recharge. Thoughtfully designed with playful yet cohesive elements, this area encourages team bonding and reinforces a positive workplace culture.
By blending brand identity with a well-balanced, wellness-focused approach, Trend has delivered a workspace that is both dynamic and harmonious—an environment where employees can thrive, collaborate, and perform at their best.
