Unilever the multinational consumer goods company needed to overhaul their offices. The global Unilever team wanted the South African office to implement the new agile working style as well as reduce their office space and use it more efficiently.
Unilever tasked us in conjunction with Saville Row architects to create an agile and flexible workspace, aimed at boosting staff morale and encouraging collaboration in a vibrant and energetic office setting.
We conducted several workshop sessions to engage with the staff and teams in order to determine their requirements and general work culture they want to achieve in the space.
In the new office we wanted to bring about that local authenticity to the space. We created an industrial look and feel adding in funky African elements.
The use of bright colors, alternative furniture and green walls really brought the space to life. The reception doubles as a cafè and plaza space, creating a welcoming feel and immediately reinforcing staff’s sense of belonging.
