Transforming Workspaces: Trend Group’s Design & Build for Sinohydro
Located in the bustling Maxwell Office Park in Midrand, Johannesburg, Trend Group recently completed a stunning office refurbishment for Sinohydro, a leading name in hydropower engineering. The project aimed to create a workspace that combined practicality and simplicity, while aligning with Sinohydro’s brand identity.
The design focused on incorporating natural light and an open layout, resulting in a modern and minimal office environment. This included the addition of a new, spacious boardroom and upgraded work areas.
Custom Elements That Reflect Excellence
Faced with the challenge of pitched ceilings, Trend Group retained and highlighted them, enhancing the space’s visual appeal with light tones. They also revamped the mixed flooring to achieve a cohesive look within budget constraints.
The reception area features a custom Design Colab desk and refurbished bulkhead, setting a sleek tone for the office. In the boardroom, a statement veneer table and custom bulkhead detailing add elegance. Collaboration with Design Colab allowed Trend Group to deliver a high-quality, bespoke solution that met Sinohydro’s budget and design requirements, featuring versatile furniture and thoughtful design elements.
