Laying the Foundation: A Vision for Community Empowerment
Trend Group was entrusted with the design and fit-out of a state-of-the-art office for a prominent US banking company, contributing to an initiative focused on generating jobs and empowering disadvantaged individuals. The project aimed to create a functional yet inviting workspace for over 200 agents, embodying values of transparency, openness, and inclusivity.
Designing for Comfort and Functionality
The contact centre office design included a reception area, three training rooms, two meeting rooms, a spacious canteen for 60-70 people, and a lively staff games room. The reception exuded a high-end corporate aesthetic appropriate for the banking sector, while the staff areas were crafted to provide comfortable and inspiring environments that promote productivity and well-being.
Harmonious Aesthetics: Unified Themes and Design Elements
We incorporated recurring motifs and materials throughout the office, inspired by the client’s logo. Curve motifs featured prominently in floor treatments, furniture, and glass elements, reinforcing the theme of transparency. A grand glass façade offered panoramic views, harmonising the stark urban setting with softer timber finishes.
Balancing Transparency and Privacy
Understanding the balance between privacy and openness was crucial due to the sensitive nature of client information. Frameless glass in the coaching pods created an inviting atmosphere while maintaining essential privacy. Vinyl frosting with a pixel-inspired design in the central atriums allowed for light while providing necessary seclusion, reflecting the client’s values effectively.
An Oasis of Productivity and Enjoyment
The reception area made a bold statement with a neutral palette, integrating the client’s corporate colours. The design adeptly separated operational areas from the call centre while infusing vibrant colours into back-of-house spaces. The canteen served as a soothing oasis with natural-inspired elements, and the games room featured lively street art, creating dedicated spaces for staff enjoyment.
