Polycat
A Vision for Creativity
Polycat Animation, a dynamic creative company, turned to Trend Group to design their new offices in the Bridgwater Building at Century City. The goal was to create a workspace that was edgy and punk-inspired, setting them apart from traditional office environments. With an emphasis on vibrant colours, including bright pink and striking neon lighting, the design aimed to ignite creativity and foster an innovative atmosphere.

An Industrial Punk Aesthetic
The new headquarters embraces a unique blend of industrial and punk aesthetics, featuring moody monochromatic tones contrasted with vivid pops of pink and playful patterns. This combination creates an inspiring setting for Polycat Animation’s creative team, encouraging collaboration and imaginative thinking. The layout includes essential spaces such as a dark room, an audio room, and a production office, while maintaining an open-plan area for teamwork and breakaway sessions.
Creative Finishes and Fun Elements
To achieve the desired edgy look, Trend Group opted for simple finishes for the office shell, which allowed the bolder design elements to shine. A striking checkerboard floor tile adds a funky touch, while a pink spray finish on the soffit creates an eye-catching focal point. The result is a vibrant and functional workspace that perfectly reflects Polycat Animation’s energetic spirit and commitment to creativity.

A Space That Inspires
Overall, Trend Group successfully transformed Polycat Animation’s vision into a reality, resulting in a headquarters that inspires creativity and innovation. This carefully crafted design not only meets the needs of a modern creative company but also fosters an environment where bold ideas can flourish and thrive.
