Trend was appointed on Gartner on behalf of Space Matrix to build their new head office. Trend needed to adhere to the company’s global guidelines while combining the design and materials to suit the South African market and local availability.
Gartner was relocating their new head office, and this new office needed to match the global standards of the way in which they worked.
Some of the key features of this project was the Barisol ceiling in the main boardroom. The high level of acoustics in meeting rooms, lighting and audiovisual equipment. The different collaborative areas were also unique and special in the spaces.
The look and feel was led by Space Matrix, which was a combination of industrial and modern finishes. The use of concrete textures, warm timbers and then softs in the furniture brought a raw yet comfortable feel to the space.
