Trend Group was appointed on the design and build of Merchants new reception area and boardroom. Merchants is a leading customer management partner specialising in business process outsourcing (BPO) that delivers customer experience and customer interactions.
The client wanted to pay homage to the views of Cape Town and the history of the Heritage Building they occupied in Woodstock and well as bring to life their ethos that people matter.
Trend Group took a contextual and conceptual approach in the design and integrated the company’s core values of people matter & sisekhaya “we are home”, the main concept behind the space was inspired by the NEST.
A textural and bright aesthetic encourages a South African influence with colour and pattern and pays homage to the views of Table Mountain. The client showed support for local artistry through including large artworks commissioned by South African Artist THATDAMNVANDAL
