For accounting and advisory firm AFA, Trend Group designed and built a new, sophisticated office in the Firestation building. The vision was to create a sleek, modern environment that reflects the firm’s professionalism. The design features exposed ceilings, polished concrete floors, and warm timber accents for a welcoming atmosphere. A striking geometric feature using strips of timber paneling adds texture and character throughout the space. Adaptable meeting rooms with stackable walls provide flexibility, promoting both focused work and dynamic collaboration.
A New Chapter for AFA
AFA, a respected accounting and advisory firm, was ready to set up its new offices in the Firestation and needed a design and build partner to help them on this journey. After completing a fit-out for another client in the same building, AFA turned to Trend Group, confident that we could bring their vision to life.

Flexible Meeting Spaces for Dynamic Collaboration
Recognising the importance of flexibility in today’s work environment, we designed adaptable meeting rooms that cater to various needs. With the incorporation of stackable walls, these rooms can be easily opened to connect with the rest of the office, encouraging collaboration and spontaneous discussions among team members. This design promotes a sense of community while ensuring the space remains functional.
Adding Texture and Character
To bring an extra sense of style to the space, we used strips of timber panelling to create a striking geometric feature throughout the office. This design element not only adds visual interest but also plays with texture and symmetry, enriching the overall aesthetic. By thoughtfully blending materials, we have crafted an environment that is both beautiful and conducive to productivity.
