Creating a Bespoke Talent Acquisition Hub

Cape Town

TTEC’s new Talent Acquisition Hub in Cape Town is a considered example of office design in Cape Town, where smart space planning supports both function and experience. Delivered in collaboration with ATTIK Design, the hub provides a professional yet welcoming environment for new recruits. Through thoughtful interior office design and bespoke build solutions, the space reflects TTEC’s global identity while responding to specific needs of the local team. The result is the TA Hub: a custom-built office fit out environment for onboarding new recruits, designed for efficiency while creating a strong first impression.

First Impressions That Last

TTEC, a global leader in technology-driven customer experience, required a new space within its Cape Town office for its expanding Talent Acquisition (TA) team. Having worked on earlier phases of their local office, ATTIK Design was brought in once again to design the new hub and partnered with Trend Group as their trusted build partner.

The brief was to create an extension to their existing Cape Town office that could house interview and testing facilities for new recruits to the call centre. It had to reflect TTEC’s global brand, align with the industrial aesthetic of the existing office, and feel cohesive with earlier phases.

Standout Features

A series of bespoke interview pods form one of the hub’s defining features. Each pod, finished in a different colour, balances visual impact with privacy. Built-in seating, shoulder-height walls, and acoustic elements ensure comfort and discretion. These pods were custom-designed and locally manufactured by a specialist shopfitter.

The testing area introduces a softer touch, inspired by a café setting. Harvest-style tables were used to create a more welcoming, less formal environment for candidates. Together, these elements make the TA Hub a workspace that fulfils its function while being less intimidating.

At reception, a half-round desk with an aged steel-like finish nods to TTEC’s industrial brand aesthetic in a more refined way. To offset the challenge of limited natural light, roof materials were specified to maximise brightness throughout the space.

Office Design Cohesion

Tying in with the earlier phases of the TTEC project, the Cape Town call centre – the company’s first in the city – was designed to be visually striking and distinctive, while remaining consistent with the established design language.

As seen on the other production floors of the building, walls feature branding call-outs to stand out, while pops of colour and geometric patterns in the finishes bring energy to the space. For example, playful carpet strips flow between different areas to maintain cohesion with the rest of the workspaces.

Delivering with Precision

The build was completed in just twelve weeks, with noisy works carefully scheduled after hours to avoid disruption. Trend Group and ATTIK Design collaborated closely on furniture, finishes, and bespoke joinery, working with local suppliers to manage lead times and ensure durability. The result is a high-quality, fit-for-purpose space designed to withstand daily use while supporting long-term sustainability. The completed project was met with highly positive feedback from the client, TTEC.

Tailored Solution with Successful Collaboration

Delivered on time and within budget, the TA Hub strengthens TTEC’s presence in Cape Town while giving candidates an inspiring, professional introduction to the company. The project reflects a successful collaboration between ATTIK Design and Trend Group, merging international brand standards with local expertise and execution. By combining smart space planning, bespoke elements, and careful execution, the team delivered an innovative solution that balances global brand identity with local needs.
