P&G

Johannesburg / Sandton

Proctor and Gamble, a multinational consumer goods corporation appointed Trend on their existing office optimization project in Sandton.

The goal of the project was to downsize their operations, and to demolish one of their floors. P&G also wanted to bring about collaboration and work flexibility into their workspace, by creating a diverse choice of spaces to work depending on their tasks and personal preferences.

The beautiful design was generated by Orbit and Trend assisted with the implementation and local procurement of local alternatives to suit P&G’s design and balance international and local style.

The design intent was to make the environment to feel homely. This was achieved by using finishes that incorporated a lot of timbers and natural woods to bring that warmth in to the space – paired with greenery, graphic wallpapers, artwork and pendant lighting. African elements were also brought in such as animal rugs, local furniture pieces, log looking tables and other rustic pieces.
