AFA the accounting and advisory firm was moving into new offices in the Firestation and required a design and build company to do the job.
Trend had recently completed offices for another client in the building and AFA wanted us to do their project as well.
The design intent was to have a sleek and sophisticated look with exposed ceilings, concrete flooring and lots of timber.
The meeting rooms were required to be flexible, and we therefore designed them to have stackable walls so that the space could be opened up to the rest of the office. The strips of timber paneling created a geometric feature and allowed us to play with symmetry and texture.
